  Stay away from this company. They’re overly expensive, can’t provide agreed upon services, and have impressively poor customer service. Details of my experience over the last 2 years are below if further details are helpful.
  
  I receive 2 deliveries a year and have had nothing but issues with them. When they first came to inspect the tank after I purchased the property it’s on, one of the setup people commented on how he had been out the last time the place changed ownership…which maybe he shouldn’t have mentioned because the other person found improper tubing that would’ve been there at the previous inspection and a small gas leak. They fixed it, hopefully. Then last year, it took them a month to deliver my propane order in the middle of winter, so I went without heat for a week in 30 degree temperatures. This year, they confirmed several delivery dates, but never showed up and never called to inform me of any changes. I had to call them to get new dates. I have to leave a gate open and a guard dog inside before I go to work, and I refuse to do this indefinitely. Had they simply called and kept me informed so I could leave things setup on only the delivery day, this wouldn’t have been an issue. I understand schedules change and I’m not the only customer they’re dealing with. But instead they confirmed multiple delivery dates, no one ever came, and no one ever called to tell me. And given their issues last year, who knows when they might show up. So I cancelled the order to switch companies to the one my workplace uses which we’ve had no issues with (and which has a much cheaper propane rate as well). When I requested a refund, ER Energy stated they cannot refund what they’ve already charged me for the propane they did not deliver as agreed. There is no reason they shouldn’t be able to re-credit my credit card except that they don’t want to.
  
  And then I get a voicemail a week after cancelling from the person who took my cancellation order…telling me the driver is at my house to deliver and can’t get in and complaining about how much I’ve inconvenience them. No, this is definitely the fault of people at your company, not my fault. No one showed up before, no one contacted me, and I cancelled the order a week ago. The receptionist even remembered taking the cancellation order when I spoke to her later, but didn’t understand that that means there should be no one delivering propane to my house. She even asked if I still wanted the delivery after I explained the situation and we discussed that she remembered cancelling the order previously. Seriously?! So why are you calling me now? Why after all of the chances I’ve given the people at this company would I want to continue service with them? I’ve now had to dispute the charge with my credit card company to get a refund.
  
  I try to be very accommodating and understanding with people and companies I work with. Even going without heat for a week last year, I would have kept using them had they simply communicated with me in a timely fashion. But the level of incompetence has really gotten ridiculous here.
